I've had this kit collecting dust for the past few months so I finally decided to put it together. It's another version of the same Hexa-Gear kit I put together a while back.

Didn't think "gunpla" type stuff counted as art, so I figured I'd play it safe and make a news post.

Still working on Armored Core: Copper Frost, if you haven't seen it yet, chapter 10 was put up two weeks ago.

If I have anything resembling a following, then this is for that, I suppose. Just felt like this was just collecting dust. Anyways, finished up the latest chapter of my fanfic project, "Armored Core: Copper Frost", which can be seen here:

Chapter 6

When miniatures are concerned, I do plan to get back to that in the near future. Was originally going to wait on when the rest of the backer rewards from the "Darkest Dungeon" board game I backed a long while back came, but since that hasn't happened I figured I might as well get started. Either that, or print out something to paint, found some good stuff, and some mad lad made 3D printable versions of ALL parts in Armored Core 6, which I have been making my way through.

So, no, this account is not dead, just not much to say or show. But I'll make time for something soon enough.

Printed, painted and finished up.

Wow, so um, the base I had my Skarbrand model on basically exploded and flooded the shelf he was on with uncured resin. Had to take a bunch of models off, wipe their base bottoms down, remove Skarbrand from his base and throw said base out. Cleaned everything up as best as I could, and we're good to go, only with some surfaces slightly sticky as I couldn't get it all 100% off. I printed the base hollow and when you do that there's uncured resin inside that needs to be drained, I of course didn't do that, nor did I expect there to be so much uncured resin in there. So, lesson learned, and new project for the very near future.

Everything runs faster and smoother and quieter than the old machine, I no longer feel like I have to worry about my aging machine immolating itself like an old timer climbing into an oven.

My computer died two weeks ago, luckily I was planning to upgrade anyway with tax return funds, this just accelerated things. Cyberpower says the expected ship date is the 14th, so end of next week at the latest is when I'll have it. When it's set up and ready to go, I'll put up some new works.

Finally got my stuff from Green Stuff World, namely clear acrylic rod and UV resin, so I replaced the brass rod holding up the skull. Much improved I'd say
